A Brief History

Thousands of years ago, dragons ruled the world, which they named Drakoria. These majestic beings wielded elemental powers and shaped the planet with their might and magic.

The dawn of humankind brought uncertainty. Growing in a world inhabited by dragons, humans saw them as gods. However, after a thousand years, human arrogance flourished. Their belief in their dragon deities faltered, leading to a brutal war. Dragon hunters emerged, and decade after decade, the conflict raged. Although the dragons won the war of the human uprising, it came at a great cost to both sides. The dragons’ numbers were halved. The surviving humans, who had opposed the war, sought peace with the dragons. Over generations, friendships formed, and dragons eventually taught a select few humans to wield magic, leading to an era of harmony and the introduction to Mages.

However, a second uprising arose, fuelled by human ambition, advanced technology and Mages who had broken their vow of peace. This conflict nearly wiped out both species. The dragons faced a choice: destroy all humans, good and bad, or let them live, knowing bad humans would remain among them. A treaty was made. Dragons and humans would henceforth segregate and stay away from each other. All remaining dragons flew to the southern continent beyond the desert, while humans remained on the northern continent.

As years passed, humans rose to power, and dragons faded into legend. The name of the world evolved to Terrindor, symbolizing the new era of human dominance and their connection to the land.

Now, in 1660, over a thousand years have passed and humans have established towns on both continents, unaware that ancient legends and forgotten magics are stirring once again. The Dragon’s Tear Saga unfolds in this world, where heroes and villains rise, driven by destiny, ambition, and vengeance.
