Hey everyone, quick update 🙂
The editing process for Book 2 is well underway! Out of the five short stories, two are now fully edited and sitting in their penultimate form. I’m aiming to have the third one finished before September (fingers crossed), with the fourth and fifth wrapped up during September. That should leave plenty of time for proofreading before the planned release in late October—or early November at the latest.
I’ll admit, I’ve been playing a bit of catch-up lately. I went on a two-week family holiday in Cornwall and, despite taking my laptop with the best intentions, I only managed to edit once during the first week. With the family around—chatting, laughing, and keeping busy—it was hard to get into the right headspace. In the end, I decided not to force it and promised myself I’d make up for it when I got home.
And that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. I usually edit two sections a day, but lately I’ve been pushing myself to three. (For context, a “section” for me can run anywhere from four to ten pages.)
So yes, things are moving along! At the moment, all my focus is on getting this book finished, because I’m eager to dive into Book 3.
Thanks for reading this little update—I hope you’re all doing well!
